Art & Landscape

Springhornhof is a pioneer of landscape art projects in Europe. Since the 1970s internationally renowned artists such as Tony Cragg, Timm Ulrichs, Micha Ullman, Mark Dion, Elmgeen and Dragnet, Christiane Mobüs and Dan Peterman have been invited to develop site-specific works in dialogue with the landscape.

Now more than 40 artistic interventions are cautiously integrated into the natural environment, producing a dialogue on contrast, creating exciting spaces, highlighting natural processes, or drawing attention to traces of historical change.

The works’ position in a culture-rich historical village, their interaction with the changing seasons and with the natural processes all contribute to the charm of the Neuenkirchener  art landscape”.
