After the death of the founder of the Springhornhof, Ruth Falazik, in 1998, the exhibition continued to secure the long-term existence of the exhibitions and the “Art – Landscape” project. On the initiative of the Kunstverein, the Falazik family, numerous supporters and friends as well as thanks to the decisive support of the Land of Lower Saxony and the Kreissparkassen, the Foundation Springhornhof was founded in 1999. In this way, a cultural institution in rural areas could be maintained, which is able to show a regional profile and to make an important contribution to the cultural life of the region. The foundations of the Volksbank Lüneburger Heide eG, the EWE and the Soltau municipalities contribute substantially to the financial base of the Springhornhof.
